Registered Provisional Psychologist

Leighton Dahl

Leighton Dahl is a Calgary psychologist who works with teens and adults navigating ADHD, anxiety, OCD, burnout, emotional regulation, and major life transitions.

Leighton brings a warm, steady, and genuinely supportive presence to therapy. She believes lasting change happens when people feel truly understood rather than judged — so she creates a space where clients can explore what's weighing on them and leave with practical tools they can actually use.

Much of her work centers on teens and adults navigating generalized and social anxiety, panic, obsessive-compulsive concerns, low mood, and burnout. She also supports clients working through attachment and relationship difficulties, self-esteem struggles, body image and social media pressures, emotional dysregulation, and self-harm.

Her approach blends evidence-based strategies with a compassionate, person-centered style that helps clients build resilience, strengthen self-awareness, and move toward the life they want. Leighton meets each person where they are and works alongside them, at their own pace.

Leighton also works with children, teens, and families through NU Psychology's sister clinic, Creative Sky Psychology, where she supports younger clients navigating anxiety, ADHD, emotional regulation, and family-related concerns.
