Braxtyn Horbay

Braxtyn Horbay is a Calgary psychologist who specializes in comprehensive psychological assessment for adolescents and adults — including ADHD, autism, learning disorders, giftedness, intellectual and executive functioning, and diagnostic clarification.

Braxtyn believes understanding your brain has the power to change how you understand yourself and move through the world. Many of the people she works with have spent years sensing that they experience things differently, often without knowing why.

Her assessment work is designed to offer more than a diagnosis. Braxtyn helps clients understand their own pattern of strengths, differences, and ways of processing information, while identifying the supports and recommendations that help them move forward with more confidence.

Each assessment is comprehensive, individualized, and tailored to the client's referral questions and goals. Braxtyn draws on clinical interviews, behavioural observations, standardized measures, and collateral information to build a thoughtful, holistic understanding of each person.

Braxtyn also provides counselling for children, teens, young adults, and parents through NU Psychology's sister clinic, Creative Sky Psychology, where she supports clients with ADHD, autism, anxiety, depression, OCD, learning differences, self-esteem, and executive functioning concerns.
